Foul water and surface water drainage to a new bungalowMark Grantham
As part of our installation work new houses and systems feature in our workload Recently we were entrusted to install foul water and surface water drainage to a new bungalow under construction by a private client. The foul water system was connected to a 4 inch clay sewer pipe serving a neighbouring property already crossing the site, saving the client an expensive in road sewer connection.
Working to the clients architects drawings we laid all foul water drainage around the property utilising the latest plastic pipe and manhole systems to achieve a cost effective and speedy installation.
Part of the brief was to culvert an existing water course to the rear of the property, this water course forms part of the villages surface water disposal systems and is maintained by the local drainage board. All works and designs were approved by them and LDS actioned all works including laying the 300mm pipes, constructing manholes and head walls.
The bungalow surface water system was then connected into one of the new manholes on the culvert saving the need for soakaways or any type of attenuation system.
At LDS our experience and access to a wide range of products gives us a competitive edge, give us a try for your next installation.
